Terms of service
These terms govern use of Halvr. Customers remain responsible for their model providers, application behavior, retention settings, users, and compliance obligations.
Effective July 14, 2026
The service
Halvr provides a model-traffic proxy, spend controls, routing, caching, alerts, analytics, and related account tools. Features may change as the service develops. Halvr may provide previews or experimental features that are not covered by a service-level commitment.
Accounts and authority
A user must provide accurate account information and protect account credentials. A person using Halvr for a company represents that they are authorized to accept these terms for that company. The account owner controls workspace access and is responsible for activity under its API keys and team accounts.
Customer systems and providers
Customers supply or connect their own model-provider credentials unless a separate order states otherwise. Provider charges, quotas, model behavior, output quality, and provider availability remain the customer's responsibility. Halvr's budget reservation is a preventive control, not a guarantee that a provider invoice will exactly match at every moment.
Customers are responsible for the lawfulness of prompts, responses, metadata, end-user notices, and any decisions made from model output. Halvr must not be used to violate law, provider terms, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or security controls.
Fees and payment
Paid plans are billed under the pricing shown at checkout or in an order form. Usage, savings, and spend-under-management calculations follow the published pricing methodology. Fees are non-refundable except where law or a written order requires otherwise. Halvr may restrict paid features when an invoice is overdue after reasonable notice.
An eligible Performance trial requires a payment method through Dodo Payments. The trial length, renewal date, and post-trial price are shown before checkout and in Halvr billing notices. Unless canceled before the displayed renewal date, the subscription automatically renews and the saved payment method is charged under the selected plan. A customer can cancel or update the payment method through the hosted billing portal.
Customer data
Customers retain their rights in customer data and instruct Halvr to process it to provide the service. The customer grants Halvr the limited rights needed to host, transmit, secure, analyze, and delete that data according to project settings and these terms. Halvr may use aggregated or de-identified operational data that cannot reasonably identify a customer or person to maintain and improve the service.
Availability and warranties
Halvr will use commercially reasonable care to operate the service. Unless a signed order states otherwise, the service is provided as available and without implied warranties of uninterrupted operation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement to the extent permitted by law.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Halvr's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees paid by the customer to Halvr during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where they are prohibited by law.
Suspension and termination
A customer may stop using Halvr at any time and may cancel a paid plan through the available billing flow. Halvr may suspend access to address a security risk, unlawful use, material breach, or unpaid fees. On termination, access ends and customer data is handled under the privacy notice and any applicable data processing addendum.
Changes and contact
Halvr may update these terms. Material changes will be announced through the service or account email before they take effect when reasonably possible. Continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply. Questions can be sent to legal@halvr.io.
